The same applies when you want to calculate the uber/lyft fares. I live 9.3 miles from mccarran airport. Taxi- approximately $41.00, lyft $22.00 (not including the tip).

Things you should know about Las Vegas Taxi Airport Trip Zone Pricing
The zone pricing only apply to direct trips. Any stop outside of one of the three zones will be charged according to the existing meter rates.
When Multiple stops within a zone are requested, the second trip within a zone will be charged as a new trip according to the existing meter rates.
Passengers paying with credit cards will be charged a $3.00 fee over the zone amount.
The maximum number of passengers permitted in a Las Vegas taxicab (sedan style) is five (5), including infants and children.

For Las Vegas Airport Taxi rates for locations outside Zone 1, 2 and 3, this includes hotels in downtown Las Vegas, the taxi fare is calculated by a taximeter. The meter inside the taxi calculates the cost of your ride and displays the fare. The cost of a taxi ride in Las Vegas is regulated, and each taxi charges approximately the same fares.

Money Saving Tip: Before taking a taxi from McCarran Airport to your hotel, first check here to make sure your hotel does not offer complimentary shuttle service from the airport.
Here is another way to save a few bucks. If you just arrived at McCarran International Airport and your destination is downtown Las Vegas, The Tropicana Hotel, MGM Grand, Excalibur or New York-New York, proceed to the airport's ground level zero and take the Westcliff Airport Express Bus for only $2 per single ride. Please note, taking this route might involve a little bit of walking to your hotel from the bus stop.
All Las Vegas taxi companies have lift-equipped vans that can accommodate one wheelchair or scooter. Call ahead of time to arrange a pickup.
